Successful closure of North Norfolk and Goldbeck Group offers
Hazel is delighted to announce the successful closure of the two solar offers it launched at the start of 2013.
The 11MW North Norfolk solar farm opportunity closed at the end of April 2013 and this 11.0MW solar farm located near Cromer is near completion and will qualify for the 1.6 ROC subsidy scheme.
The offer to invest in the ‘Goldbeck group’ projects which have a combined capacity of 19.4MW closed at the start of June 2013. The Goldbeck farms, located in Devon, Somerset and South Wales were operational, grid connected and cash generating in March 2013 and qualified for the 2.0 ROC subsidy scheme.
Strong demand from private investors allowed Hazel to achieve its full fundraising target for both offers. Completion of these two offers is testament to the attraction of UK solar as an investment class and to the high quality of Hazel’s pipeline of solar assets and the team’s ability to deliver projects.
