How we do it

Our service promise

Hazel Capital aim to support our investors by providing clearly presented information and periodic updates as well as ad hoc access to the fund managers. We are proud to differentiate ourselves, metaphorically-speaking, through our efforts to hold investors’ hands throughout the life of their investment.

Corporate governance

Hazel Capital LLP is committed to acting at all times in the best long-term interests of its clients and takes its corporate governance responsibilities seriously.

UK Stewardship Code: The UK Stewardship Code (“the Code”), which was published by the Financial Reporting Council in July 2010, aims to enhance the quality of engagement between institutional investors and companies to help improve long-term returns to shareholders.

The Code sets out good practice through the establishment of seven principles of engagement with investee companies to which institutional investors should aspire.

Hazel Capital LLP fully supports and endorses the principles and standards of good practice set out in the Code but, as an investment Firm that operates exclusively in the unlisted private equity asset class, it is not required by the Financial Conduct Authority to set out its commitment to the seven principles of the Code.
